Hi friends – I’ve been out of town for over a week, but I think I have caught up on all of the requests for invites to post on this blog. Please let me know if I’ve overlooked you!
A couple of folks are wondering how to “follow” this blog, and here is the info I can offer: since this is a wordpress blog and I know that many of you use blogger blogs, I don’t think you are able to “follow” us like you would a blogger blog. You can click the little orange square on the right to add us to your RSS feed. I know that I’ve seen a few wordpress blogs that have a “followers” widget similar to the blogger ones (lots of tiny avatars), and will keep my eye out for one for all of you wordpress bloggers.
Someone also mentioned categories, and we do have a few to choose from: electronics, ephemera, food packaging, mailing materials (bubble wrap, etc.), textiles, and toys & game pieces. These are just a few that I added off the top of my head when I created the blog – feel free to add more if you are able, or suggest things you’d like to see – maybe we’ve got what you are looking for!
And now something fun: two ideas for recycling your old lightbulbs :)
One way to follow this blog is to sign up for Google Reader and “subscribe” to http://trashitforward.wordpress.com/

What a great idea this is! I’m looking for those little plastic bottles that the plugin room deodorizers come in. Just the single ones tho and empty of course!
